I. Pre-Installation Preparation

1. Check Accessories: Ensure all parts are present, including brackets, screws, nuts, threaded rods, pressure rods, ceiling cover, wiring, etc.

2. Tool Preparation: Prepare screwdrivers, wrenches, and a spirit level (or a mobile level app).

3. Safety First: If climbing is involved, use a sturdy ladder and have someone assist you.

II. Installation Steps

1. Positioning and Fixing the Bracket: Secure the bracket to the wall or ceiling with screws, ensuring it is stable.

Key Point: Both ends of the bracket must be at the same height; a spirit level can be used to check.

2. Assembling the Light Master: Place the thicker end of the light master against the wall, and pull out the thinner end to press against the opposite wall, maintaining the same height at both ends.

Hold the thicker tube with one hand and rotate the thinner tube clockwise with the other until the master is tightened and cannot be rotated further; the white top feet will then be fixed in place.

Note: Rotate with even force until you hear a "click," indicating the internal locking mechanism is engaged.

3. Connecting the Wires: Thread the wires through the pressure rod and connect them to the internal terminals of the lamp body. Ensure the live wire (red) is connected to the live wire and the neutral wire to the neutral wire.

Safety Tips: Always operate with the power off. Wrap the connection with insulating tape after connection.

III. Adjustment and Fine-tuning

1. Leveling the Lamp Body:

Steps: Loosen the top universal joint and let the lamp post hang naturally for a few seconds. Attach a leveling patch to the side of the lamp body, hold the post with one hand, and tighten the middle damping ring until you feel even resistance.

Purpose: To eliminate initial misalignment and prevent the lamp body from "nodding" or "tilting."

2. Locking and Smoothness Test:

Steps: Before tightening the bottom retaining ring, gently slide the lamp head up and down twice, then lock it completely.

Purpose: To ensure smooth lifting and lowering without rebound by allowing the internal spring and slide rail to "engage".

3. Fine-tuning gaps:

Problem: Gaps exist at both ends after installation.

Solution: Remove the bracket and swap the left and right ends; if gaps still exist, try filling with shims or readjusting the installation position.

IV. Precautions

1. Load-bearing capacity: Ensure the maximum load-bearing capacity of the light pole meets the weight of the light fixture.

2. Waterproofing: For outdoor use, choose products with a high waterproof rating (e.g., IP65).

3. Regular inspection: Check periodically for loose screws and ensure the light pole is secure.
