1. Appearance and Structural Inspection
1. Mast Condition
Inspect the surface for rust, scratches, or peeling paint (especially at metal joints). Minor rust requires immediate attention.
Observe the mast for bends or deformation. Any length deviation exceeding 1% requires professional correction.
2. Connecting Components
Check for loose bolts, flanges, and other fasteners. Manually test (torque must comply with the manufacturer's specifications).
Confirm whether the locking mechanism (such as the capstan or lead screw) is malfunctioning. There should be no slippage after locking.
2. Functional Performance Testing
1. Smooth Movement
During manual or electric extension and retraction, if there is any stalling, unusual noise, or uneven speed, this may be due to insufficient lubrication or rail wear.
For electric masts, test the remote control response delay (normally ≤0.5 seconds).
2. Load-Bearing Capacity
Perform an unloaded lift test to observe any tilt or tremor. Abnormalities may indicate bearing wear or hydraulic system failure. After loading the rated weight, check the stability in the locked state (displacement should be ≤ 2mm).
III. Electrical and Sealing Systems
1. Electrical Safety
Use a multimeter to check the insulation resistance of the power cord (≥ 0.5MΩ). Ensure that there are no signs of scorching on components inside the control box.
Check the motor temperature rise (surface temperature ≤ 60°C after one hour of operation).
2. Sealing
Inspect the expansion joint for water seepage or dust accumulation. Aging of the seal ring can cause internal rust.
IV. Environment and Frequency of Use
High-frequency use (over 20 lifts and lowerings per day): Reduce the inspection cycle to once a week.
Harsh environments (coastal, dusty): Check the anti-rust coating and sealing monthly.
V. Maintenance Recommendations
Immediate Maintenance: If any of the above abnormalities occur, shut down the machine for inspection.
Preventive Maintenance: Even if there are no abnormalities, a comprehensive inspection is recommended every three months.
