Installation Steps
1. Foundation Preparation
Choose a flat, open site, ensuring the ground is level and firm, avoiding soft or sloping terrain.
Remove the telescopic mast from the packaging and check that all accessories are complete (e.g., lightning rod, tripod, etc.).
2. Mounting the Support and Mast Assembly
If using a tripod, secure it with ground spikes after unfolding, ensuring the mast is vertical; if no support is used, directly fix the bottom flange of the mast with ground spikes.
Insert the mast base pin into the support shaft hole, rotate it to a vertical position, and stabilize it, ensuring the base and support fit tightly.
3. Guy Cable Connection and Fixing
Hang the guy cable hooks on the pre-installed hanging rings at the top of the mast, and the other end on the ground spike hanging rings. Adjust the tightness to keep the mast vertical.
Add a layer of guy cable for every 5 meters of mast height increase (e.g., single layer for 10 meters, double layer for 15 meters).
4. Lifting Operation
Manual Mode: Insert the hand crank and crank clockwise evenly to raise the mast. Observe the verticality and adjust the guy wires.
Electric Mode: Connect the power cord (12V/24V) and remote control cable. Operate the lifting operation via the control panel or remote control.
5. Load Installation and Locking
Pre-install the camera or equipment on the top of the mast. The load weight should not exceed 30kg, ensuring balanced distribution.
After raising to the maximum position, move the guy wire locking pin to the locked position to secure the mast and prevent swaying.
Precautions
Safety Regulations: The mast must be kept vertical. Horizontal or inverted use is prohibited. A designated person must observe the verticality during operation.
Load Limits: Strictly adhere to the load-bearing range (usually 30-80kg) to avoid overloading, which could lead to deformation or tipping.
Environmental Adaptability: Avoid use in wind speeds >14m/s or in severe weather. Ensure the grounding resistance is ≤10Ω.
