1. Safety Preparations Before Testing
Ensure the equipment is placed on a solid, level surface. The support legs are leveled and locked to prevent swaying or tipping during testing.
Check that there are no obstructions (such as power lines, tree branches, or building structures) within a 13-meter radius of the lifting mast to avoid collision risks.
Confirm that the wire rope is intact without broken strands or slippage, that the pulleys rotate smoothly, and that there are no leaks in the hydraulic or electric systems.
All fixing pins and bolts are locked, especially the connection between the U-shaped bracket and the lifting mast.
2. Segmented Lifting Test
Start the generator set or connect to a power source and turn on the power switch on the control panel.
Using the remote control or jog switch, slowly raise the lifting mast to 1/3 of its height, pause, and observe for any abnormal noises, jamming, or swaying.
Continue raising it to 2/3 of its height, pause again, and check if the guide rails are smooth and if the motor is overheating.
Finally, raise it to the maximum height (usually 6-10 meters) and confirm that the limit device stops automatically to avoid damage from overtravel.
3. Descent Test
Slowly lower the boom, setting 1-2 pauses midway to verify the reliability of the braking function.
Observe whether the wire rope retraction is uniform and whether the winch retracts and extends synchronously to prevent tangling.
After reaching the lowest position, check whether the automatic locking mechanism is effective to ensure transportation safety.
4. Dynamic Performance Evaluation
Repeat the lifting operation 2-3 times, recording the lifting time each time (normally, the entire process should be completed within 30-60 seconds).
If slow movement, shaking, or delayed response occurs, check for insufficient motor power, abnormal hydraulic oil pressure, or control signal interference.
Test whether the wireless remote control function can stably control within a range of 30-50 meters to avoid signal loss.
5. Post-Test Inspection
Turn off the power and check the cable for pulling damage and whether the Grange connectors are loose.
Check whether the fasteners at all connection points have loosened due to vibration, and retighten them if necessary.
Fill in the test record, including rise and fall time, abnormal phenomena, environmental conditions, etc., to facilitate subsequent maintenance and traceability.
