1. Choose a suitable installation location:
Make sure the installation location is flat, stable, and provides enough space to unfold the camera tower. Avoid installing on soft ground, slopes, or unstable surfaces to avoid affecting the stability of the camera tower.
Consider the shooting scene and angle requirements, and choose a location that allows the camera to capture the desired picture. At the same time, be careful to avoid installing it in places where it may be disturbed or collided.
2. Unpack the camera tower:
When unpacking, be careful not to damage the camera tower or its accessories. Check whether the items in the package are complete, usually including the camera tower body, pan head, tripod, quick release plate, screws, tools, etc.
3. Install the tripod:
Remove the tripod from the camera tower body (if the tripod is detachable) and unfold the tripod. Some camera towers may have fixed tripods and do not need to be removed.
According to the ground conditions, adjust the length and angle of the tripod so that the camera tower can stand steadily. Make sure the tripod foot spikes are firmly inserted into the ground to increase stability. If the ground is hard or not suitable for using spikes, consider using other stabilization aids such as a tripod base or sandbags.
4. Install the gimbal:
Mount the gimbal on the top platform of the camera tower. There will usually be a mounting interface on the gimbal that matches the corresponding interface on the camera tower. Use the provided screws or tools to fix the gimbal to the camera tower, but do not tighten it too much so that you can make fine adjustments if necessary.
5. Install the quick release plate:
Mount the quick release plate on the bottom of the camera. There is usually a screw hole on the quick release plate, which aligns with the mounting hole on the bottom of the camera, and then use the screws to fix the quick release plate to the camera. Make sure the quick release plate is firmly installed to prevent the camera from loosening or falling during shooting.
6. Install the camera on the gimbal:
Align the camera with the quick release plate installed with the quick release interface on the gimbal, and then gently snap the camera into the quick release interface until you hear a "click" indicating that the camera is properly installed in place. Some gimbals may also require a device to rotate or lock to ensure the fixation of the camera.
7. Adjust the camera position and angle:
Use the adjustment mechanism of the gimbal to adjust the camera position and angle to achieve the desired shooting effect. You can adjust the pitch, rotation and roll angles so that the camera can accurately aim at the shooting target. During the adjustment process, pay attention to keep the camera balanced and stable.
8. Connect other accessories (if necessary):
If you need to use other accessories, such as microphones, lights or monitors, you can connect them according to the interface type of the camera tower and accessories. For example, plug the microphone into the microphone interface of the camera, install the light in a suitable position on the camera tower, and connect it to the camera through the corresponding cable or wireless connection. Make sure that the accessories are firmly installed and will not interfere with the normal operation of the camera or affect the shooting effect.
